Arthur Pijpaert

Arthur Pijpaert is a biomedical engineer, who graduated from the University of Groningen in 2021. In December 2021, he started his PhD project “Automated Measurement of Eye-movements and Strabismus with Minimal Calibration.” This project is focuses on the development of an eye-tracker that detects eye movements in young children and mentally disabled people, without causing discomfort for the patient. This system will also be able to determine squint angles to support the diagnosis of strabismus. Arthur would like to improve strabismus tests and make eye tracking more widely available for a broader target audience.
